Mitey Badgers is located in the Madison, WI area.  We offer mite age players and younger the next step in their development towards becoming an elite player.  We do this by providing year round clinics to best advance your player.  As an AAU affiliated program we have the unique opportunity to allow players from all parts of the Madison area to participate without the need for a release from their current USA Hockey Organization.  

Mitey Badgers Fall Clinic -  runs from mid-August through March.  Kids will be on full ice for 2 practices per week and 1 dryland practice per week, so kids will have the ability to see increased time on and off the ice.  Kids will play in full ice games on the weekends against other Mite age kids from around Southern WI and Northern IL.  More time means more touches, and did we mention that our games will be FULL ice! 

Mitey Badgers Spring Clinic - runs April - June.  The Spring Clinic is open to older kids, bantam age and down.  We offer 2 on ice practice sessions per week.  One practice is a dedicated skills practice and the second is used to teach how to implement those skills into game play.  The Spring clinic concludes with all the teams heading to Northern Illinois to play in a tournament.

We at Mitey Badgers will be utilizing top tier coaches, including those with past/current College, Junior and AAA experience.  

How many games do you play during the fall clinic?  Teams typically play 35+ games.

How many practices will my skater get?  We average 2 one hour on ice practice sessions/week and 1 30 min off ice practice session/week during the fall clinic.  On average 15 skaters will have the ice to themselves.  During the Spring clinic we have 1 on ice skills practice/week and 1 game play practice/week.  On average we have 20 skaters on the ice at one time. 

Can I play with my USA team during the Fall clinic?  YES, Mitey Badgers would never take away an opportunity for your player to develop and improve.  USA hockey has rules in place that allow this as well.
